Thomas Sortman is a Senior Consultant for Bowser-Morner’s Calibration Services. In this role, Tom provides project management for accredited calibrations of equipment for Bowser-Morner as well as for many “Outside” clientele. Tom is also a part of Bowser-Morner’s Special Projects and Product Testing Team that provides Environmental Testing, Altitude Testing, and Vibration Testing on a wide variety of products.
Tom spent twenty years in the United States Air Force. He served as a Missile Electronics Specialist, an Electronics Instructor, a Field Maintenance Supervisor, and lastly as a liaison between civilian contractors and the Air Force. He retired in 1991 as a Master Sergeant. His broad range of knowledge is a tremendous asset to Bowser-Morner.
Tom’s passion is bowling. He has been associated with the local bowling association for the past twenty years and has served in the roles of Director, Vice-President, and President. He is also a “Registered Volunteer” for youth activities associated with bowling as a recreational sport. He also enjoys spending time following the activities of his family and his three grandchildren.
