Ms. Van Brooker holds a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and is currently working toward her Illinois Professional Engineering license. Erin is responsible for managing Bowser-Morner’s Springfield Illinois office, which includes the Springfield, Illinois Testing Laboratory. Clients include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, various State Departments of Transportation, regional and national consultants and contractors, as well as numerous aggregate producers.
The Springfield Laboratory, which includes the Aggregate Quality Testing Laboratory, runs all the basic aggregate tests that most Departments of Transportation require for aggregate acceptance. These tests include Washed Gradation, Specific Gravity/Absorption, Sulfate Soundness, LA Abrasion, Micro-Deval, Deleterious Count, and Clay Lumps/Friable Particles.
Prior to managing the lab in Springfield Erin worked as a certification engineer and later was head of Sales and Business Development for the certification department. This role included working with the FAA and meeting the FAA regulations for modifications and testing.
