The new Mercy Medical Center in Perrysburg, Ohio consists of three phases that started construction in 2012 and will be completed in early 2019.
The Emergency and Diagnostics Center opened in 2013 and is an 18,000 square foot facility costing $13.6 million. It is a freestanding emergency room and diagnostics facility that provides x-rays, mammograms, CT scans and MRIs.
Phase 2 of the construction program is the Mercy Health Cancer Center that opened in 2016 and is a 60,000 square foot facility with an investment of $14.5 million.
The Mercy Health Facility currently under construction, is a 101,000 square foot, three story building attached to existing buildings on the site. This structure is considered to be a hospital and will have 28 inpatient beds which add to the 18 beds on the third floor of the adjacent building. Investment in this facility is $56.3 million.
